don't forget to tell your love

I went unto my doctor bearing symptoms of the flu
my doctor said now listen here whatever else you do
don't you neglect to tell your love or try to keep it quiet
or soon that boiling blood of yours is going to start a riot
you'd better start expressing all that love in heartfelt verse
or everything you feel right now will keep on getting worse
so here's 500 dollars rent a billboard and get to it
that's what this poem is all about thats why I had to do it
and now my love is told a love sun-hot and ocean-deep
it didn't work I still feel bad I guess I'll get some sleep
