what is a hero?

in my life i have had a lot of heroes
people whose hand I want to shake or buy them beeros
some of them were basically decent most of the time they were living
others did or said things of which it's hard to be forgiving
sometimes there are things in a persons life you would rather ignore
it raises the question of what are heros for
I like to think you can do something good to outlast you
even if other things you did make people want to blast you
