politeness is the prison of pettiness
Apr. 5th, 2019 11:12 amMy answer:
I always try to be polite
but in my heart, far out of sight
behind my heart's heart's heart's darkest door
pettiness rages like a tiny minotaur
politeness is pettiness' prison for sure
it scratches the heart-walls and sulks on the floor
when out on my face I am most accommodating
pettiness snorts in my heart, hotly waiting
to bust out of walls it will never bust out of
the heart has its walls which its jailers don't doubt of
besides theres the chest and the ribcage and whatnot
still pettiness rages miniscule and hot
