I skipped a day and then with Edit Date pretended
I hadn't skipped a day
Would that all our time were so easily mended
After whiling our hours away
I skipped a rock across the water's surface
It seemed to dance, then just as quicky sunk
Like unto how our days seem long and full of purpose
Until they're over, and we know they stunk
