it was a long time ago and several miles away
the world was denser in those days
i never dreamed of dinosaurs the way you were supposed to
I sat on the edge of the brook
with all of the things I never bothered to dream of
I could probably write a book
it would sit on the shelf with the other Local Authors Works
and maybe one person would buy it
I rolled up my dream in breadcrumbs and eggwhite
before I started to fry it
