Of the many troubles that plague our great nation
I have to say one of the worst is procrastination
At least from the poet's particular point of view
I often find that I have several important things to do
That wouldn't take much time if I just went ahead and started
But instead I find as soon as I sit down my will departed
And with it my attention span, so that I wander off
As soon as I have put it on my productivity hat I doff
Right now just for example instead of writing a bad poem
I am dusting shelves and doing other tasks around the home
Procrastination maybe it's not as bad as war or mass extinction
But as for me it puts me in a difficult position.
