today is not a bad day in the least
I didn't sleep too late or sweat like a beast
slap slap went my sandals on the sidewalk
me and my sister had a nice talk
somewhere in the world perhaps not far away
for millions of people it was not such a nice day
houses were drowned in their beaches submerged
various deadly diseases emerged
should i feel guilty for writing this? probably
sometimes I see only what is in front of me
